BIMCO 网络教育 2016 奖学金计划是什么？

 

BIMCO eLearning provides flexible learning opportunity for young maritime professionals to advance their shipping career. BIMCO eLearning Scholarship 2016 will offer an educational opportunity to maritime students and young professionals who require financial means to gain the latest maritime knowhow. In 2016, BIMCO Education will offer three scholarships to maritime students or young shipping professionals who are unable to secure sponsorship from their school or employer to further their shipping knowledge through BIMCO’s eLearning course.

 

BIMCO 网络教育为航运业内的年轻专业人士提供了灵活地学习方式 和机会。BIMCO 网络教育 2016 奖学金计划将为寻求财政补助的年轻 航运专业人才提供教育机会，以便获取最新的航运知识与技能。2016 年 BIMCO 教育部门将提供 3 位奖学金席位给从学校或用人单位未能 获取财政支持的海事院校学生或年轻航运人才，通过参加 BIMCO 网 络教育的方式增进他们的航运知识。

• The winner will be given a fully paid seat in the “Introduction to Shipping” eLearning module in 2016. S/he can choose the starting date from the available options (End-January or early September). If the winner already has academic background in shipping, another advanced module may be selected.

 

获选者将会获得于 2016 年内全额免费的网络教育“航运介绍”课 程的席位，他 / 她可以选择适合自己的时间（ 1 月底或 9 月 初）。如果获选者已具备一定的航运专业背景，则可以从其他 高级课程里选择。

 

• The applicant must have access to a PC with a microphone (and preferably a webcam) with good internet connection.

申请者须具备一台带麦克风的电脑（最好有网络摄像头）并具 有良好的网络连接。

 

• The winner must commit themselves to self-study, submit assignments on time, attend the scheduled webinars, and take the final exam.

获选者需符合自我约束学习条件，能及时上交作业，定期参加 课程的网络研讨会及最终的结业考试。

 

• S/he must also submit a written testimonial upon completion of the course and become an “ambassador” of BIMCO eLearning to promote eLearning courses via BIMCO’s web news and social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook).

他/她并能够的在课程结束后递交书面的推荐书，同时荣升为

BIMCO 网络教育的宣传“大使”，通过 BIMCO 的官方网络新闻 和社交媒体等媒介帮助推广 BIMCO 网络教育.

 

• Priority will be given to applicants from developing countries.

Application procedures:

Submit your application expressing why you wish to apply for BIMCO eLearning Scholarship and how the eLearning course will benefit your career (in minimum 250 words, maximum 500 words) to education@bimco.org no later than Friday, 15 January 2016.

 

提交申请，表明您申请 BIMCO 网络教育教学金的原因并阐述网络教 育如何能助力您的事业发展等（英文文章，不少于 250 字，最多 500

字），邮件发送至 education@bimco.org,申请发送时间截止到 2016 年

1 月 15 日。

 

The applicant should state s/he agrees to all the terms and conditions in the application.
